Zhen Guo, une artiste sino-américain, conservateur. Né à Rizhao, Shandong, Chine. Elle est diplômée du département des beaux-arts de l’école d’art du Shandong en 1976. Diplômée du département de peinture chinoise de l’Académie des arts de Chine en 1982 et est restée enseignante au département de peinture chinoise de l’Académie des arts de Chine. Elle a été l’une des premières exploratrices de l’art féminin à l’encre après la réforme de la Chine.

En 1986, elle se rend au San Francisco Art College pour étudier aux États-Unis. En 1987, elle est allée à l’École d’art de l’Université York au Canada en tant que chercheuse invitée. En 1988, elle crée Zhen Guo Art Studio à New York.

Américaine d’origine asiatique, elle est une pionnière de l’art à l’encre. Elle a participé à de nombreuses expositions d’art internationales et est depuis longtemps engagée dans la recherche et l’exploration de l’art féminin contemporain international. Sotheby’s et d’autres sociétés de vente aux enchères internationales ont fait la promotion de son travail à plusieurs reprises.

Ces dernières années, elle a organisé et participé à l’exposition internationale d’art féminin ‘Existence’ à Changsha, en Chine, et à l’exposition ‘Touch, Body Boundary’ au Mona Museum of Contemporary Art aux États-Unis. Zhen Guo, a Chinese-American artist, curator. Born in Rizhao, Shandong, China. She graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Shandong Art School in 1976. Graduated from the Chinese Painting Department of the China Academy of Art in 1982 and stayed as a teacher at the Chinese Painting Department of the China Academy of Art. She was one of the earliest explorers of female ink art after the reform of China.

In 1986, she went to the San Francisco Art College to study in the United States. In 1987, she went to the School of Art of York University in Canada as a visit scholars. In 1988, she set up Zhen Guo Art Studio in New York. She is an Asian American contemporary female ink art pioneer. She has participated in many international art exhibitions and has long been committed to the research and exploration of international contemporary women’s art. Sotheby’s and other international auction companies have repeatedly promoted her work.

In recent years,  she has organized and participated in the “Existence” International Women’s Art Exhibition in Changsha, China, and the “Touch, Body Boundary” exhibition at the Mona Museum of Contemporary Art in the United States. South Korea’s Jeonbuk Museum of Art “Asian Women Artists Exhibition”.
